To parents looking for an Exceptional Preschool,
Our experience at Excelencia over the last 4 years has been spectacular. They have provided everything I would expect from a high-end preschool but also delivered for more! They have given my daughter the lifelong ability to effectively communicate with about 400 million more people and the mental acuity to handle all the information needed to do so!
Our daughter's language, reading and logic abilities are far ahead of her peers. So much so, that the private school she will be attending tested her and told us to enroll her in first grade. Yes, they said, just skip Kindergarten she's ready!
We are an english only household but our daughter can read, write and speak in English and in Spanish! She is also well behaved. We work with her too, but these achievements were only possible because of all the dedicated work of the Team at Excelencia!!!
They kept us informed, provided clear and consistent evaluations with regularly scheduled parent teacher meetings. They maintained a clean and safe environment. They did an amazing job of keeping things new and exciting. They exposed the kids to traveling petting zoo's, splash days in the summer, scheduled visits from the fire department, police department and more. They do show and tell, puppet shows and dress up. They change the school's decorations with the seasons and specific educational goals at the time. They have two outside play areas. One for the little ones and one for the big kids. Both are large and shaded by Oak trees. This school is very well equipped and well thought out!
Adriana Bastow, the owner and principal has earned my trust and respect as a business professional. Over the past 4 years we have seen some changes and have see a few teacher come and go. I have consistently been impressed with Adriana's ability to hire new teachers and manage new circumstances or novel situations and in general in her ability to manage all aspects of the school. She is not just a teacher, she is a great educational administrator and a proven business professional.
Excelencia has, some how, managed to meet and exceed our high expectations and given our daughter a great gift of opportunity and communication. The whole Finkel family has been overjoyed with the overall experience and the education provided at Excelencia and can wholeheartedly recommend Excelencia to your Family!
